Welcome! The Stratosphere Lounge first opened its doors in October of 2005 and has been serving the finest hookahs in San Marcos ever since.
Owners Michael and Rayda set out to create the perfect environment with an atmosphere that would set their shop apart from the other hookah lounges. "We wanted TSL to be the kind of place that we would want to hang out," said Michael, "A place that was chill and relaxing, where you could actually hold a conversation."
Now in 2013, The Stratosphere Lounge is still here- providing that same escape for Texas State students, San Marcos locals, and visitors from across the globe. So whether you're new to hookah smoking or a veteran of the craft, The Stratosphere Lounge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the perfect bowl, almost a decade in the making.

5/5/13 Finals suck, so take a break and come in and smoke with us before you finish out the semester! We've got comfy couches and chill music to help you wind down after getting A's on all your finals (or not).

12/17/12 Another successful round of late hours is finally at an end and we had a blast! Hopefully y'all did well on your finals. With another semester coming to a close we want to remind you guys to be safe over the holidays and have a great winter break!
